Water Monitoring
UCR
conducts monthly river patrols to perform water quality tests and conduct investigations and site visits of on-going projects located along the River. UCR also takes water samples three times a week in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area as part of the BacteriAlert program, monitors water quality on Laker Lanier, and in 2008 began testing for dissolved oxygen near the river's confluence with Peachtree Creek, the
only on-the-river water quality monitoring program downstream of Atlanta.
