River Revival - The Watershed Sessions, An Atlanta Rocker’s Jam, was held Thursday, May 14, from 6:30 - 10:00 pm at Park Tavern in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. This annual celebration raises funds and awareness for UCR’s work protecting the Chattahoochee River. This year's event netted over $60,00 for UCR's work to protect our river! Thank you to all our sponsors, host committee, musical guests, auction donors, volunteers, and party-goers who helped make this night such a big success!
Selected music from the evenings performances will be available for download shortly. Please check back for details!
Performers included (pictured clockwise from top left) Gareth Asher, Christopher Alan Yates, Amy Gerhartz, Calling All Stars, Brian Bisky, and Emily Kate Boyd, as well as Jen Lowe, Better than the Beatles, and more. See schedule below!
Tree Sound Studios provided solar-power and the soon-to-be-available recordings for River Revival.
The evening also kicked of the Save the Hooch campaign run by SweetWater Brewery, and saw the presentation of UCR's first ever River Rock Star Award to local design and broadcast studio RIOT Atlanta.
Each year, River Revival raises funds and awareness for UCR’s work to protect and preserve the Chattahoochee River - drinking water source for 3.5 million people.
